What is sildenafil?

  • Sildenafil relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body.
  • Sildenafil under the name Viagra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. Another brand of sildenafil is Revatio, which is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and improve exercise capacity in men and women.
  • Sildenafil may also be used for purposes other than those listed here.

What should I discuss with my doctor before taking sildenafil?

  • Do not take sildenafil if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems. This includes nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, and others), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket). Nitrates are also found in some recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite (”poppers”). Taking sildenafil with a nitrate medicine can cause a serious decrease in blood pressure, leading to fainting, stroke, or heart attack.
  • A small number of patients have had a sudden loss of eyesight after taking sildenafil. This type of vision loss is caused by decreased blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye. It is not clear whether sildenafil is the actual cause of such vision loss. Sudden vision loss with sildenafil use has occurred most often in people with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems, and in those who smoke or are over 50 years old.
  • Before taking sildenafil, tell your doctor if you have:
    • heart disease or heart rhythm problems;
    • a recent history (in the past 6 months) of a heart attack, stroke, or heart rhythm disorder;
    • congestive heart failure;
    • high or low blood pressure;
    • coronary artery disease;
    • liver disease;
    • kidney disease;
    • a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia;
    • a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia;
    • a stomach ulcer;
    • retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited condition of the eye);
    • a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie’s disease); or
    • if you have been told you should not have sexual intercourse for health reasons.

Internet Blackjack has more potential than you might think

Filed under: Uncategorized, EBA Events — joy @ 7:26 am

Blackjack has managed to preserve its popularity in the transition from conventional to online casinos. The reason is not loyalty to the tradition, but the thrill provided by the subtleties of the game’s variations.
he predecessor of internet blackjack is, of course, traditional blackjack, one of the most popular casino card games in the world. Much of blackjack’s popularity is due to the mix of chance with elements of skill, and the publicity that surrounds card counting ( keeping track of which cards have been played since the last shuffle ).

When blackjack was first introduced in the United States it was not very popular, so gambling houses tried offering various bonus payouts to get the players to the tables. One such bonus was a 10-to-1 payout if the player’s hand consisted of the ace of spades and a black Jack. This hand was called a “blackjack” and the name stuck to the game even though the bonus payout was soon abolished. As the game is currently played, a “blackjack” may not necessarily contain a jack or any black cards at all.

The game now has a lot of varieties, and this tendency is even more evident at online casinos. Probably the champions among internet blackjack games are those available at the Red Lounge Casino ( redloungecasino.com ). The casino, which is rated number one for best payouts, offers a good blend of classical features and new opportunities which add to the trill of the game. Full tilt poker page for more information.

PartyGaming Plc. poker revenues rebounding| News

Filed under: Uncategorized — sharma @ 12:41 am

The daily poker revenues are now averaging around $721,000. PartyGaming Plc. owns and operates  party poker.

The company closed its site to U.S. players after the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) was passed. That loss in players caused them to drop from number one poker site status as well as drop in revenue.

PartyGaming is recovering now and revenues are also up in other areas of its business. The company is also reporting that it is in talks to buy smaller companies that were having trouble after the UIGEA was passed.

The company is also looking into other areas of the online gambling market. It has expanded its betting and casino services, and PartyPoker.com was launched in German in November. More languages are planned in the coming months as well as multi-currency offerings.
